This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect on FinancePaisa, why we collect it, and your rights over that information.

What we collect
- Anonymous analytics data (page views, referrers, browser type) via Google Analytics 4 (delivered through Google Tag Manager)
- IP address in server logs for security and abuse prevention
- Information you voluntarily submit through the contact form (name, email, message)
- Local browser storage for calculator inputs and your cookie-consent choice during a session
What we don't collect
- We do not require account registration to use the site
- We do not sell any user data to third parties
- We do not run cross-site behavioural profiling ourselves
- We do not collect financial account numbers, PAN, or Aadhaar information
Cookies we use
We use three categories of cookies: (1) essential cookies for site functionality and remembering your cookie-consent choice; (2) analytics cookies via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage measurement; (3) in future, advertising cookies for measurement of ads served through Google AdSense. You can decline optional cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings.
Advertising with Google AdSense
When we enable Google AdSense on this site, Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads or by visiting www.aboutads.info. Third-party ad networks may also serve ads and use cookies subject to their own privacy policies.
Google AdSense is currently NOT active on this site. This section is provided for transparency about our planned advertising use.
Third-party tools we use
- Google Tag Manager — to load analytics and, in future, advertising tags
- Google Analytics 4 — for anonymous traffic measurement
- Google AdSense (planned) — for banner advertising on select pages
- Hostinger — hosting provider, retains standard server logs
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email privacy@financepaisa.com. We respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
FinancePaisa is intended for readers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we may have collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 12 months for follow-up correspondence. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form per Google's standard retention (up to 26 months, then anonymised).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or through a notice. The lastUpdated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
